WordCamp Miami – Not Just For Coders

February 11, 2010 in Site News by David Bisset

Frequently, many people who have never been to a WordCamp before might think it’s strictly for those who work and code with Wordpress. And you really can’t blame them – the name of event is, after all, WordCamp. But many WordCamps have topics and even entire tracks devoted to beginners and even those who write and blog no matter WHAT platform they choose.

WordCamp Miami is no other. If you don’t want to hear alot of coding talk, developer lingo, or crazy tech terms then GOOD NEWS. You don’t have to. Here is some of the more non-Wordpress topics we are featured at this year’s WordCamp (or if it Wordpress related, directed so that anyone can gain value from the subject):

Jim Turner
From Daddy Blogger to Business Blogger

Michael Froomkin
Legal Side of Running a Blog

Jess Jurick
Finding Your Blogging Voice

Angie Moncada
Writing for a Professional Blog

Jim Gilbert
Engaging and Driving Traffic w/ Blogs

Stephanie Rosenblatt
Creating your own WordPress Blog

Pete Bernardo
Great Plugins for Your Next Client Project

So are you aren’t a Wordpress guru? Maybe not even interested in Wordpress and use another platform (shocking, but ok). Then you’ll definitely get something from the event as you can see (not to mention networking with developers who might be a valuable resource).

See you at WordCamp!
