We are proud to announce the second year of WordCamp Miami, being held at the University of Miami campus on February 20th, 2010.

It’s going to be special and truly a unique event this year. Last year, WordCamp was merged into BarCamp Miami. We had really only one room for the whole day which probably held a maximum of 100 people. But this allowed us to sample the interest of the South Florida community in regards to things related to WordPress. We had some fine speakers then (including yours truly). This year, we have the support of a number of key individuals including John James Jacoby (if you don’t know who he is, he’s a core developer for BuddyPress).

So please stay tuned for updates. We realize that February 20th is around the corner, but with the help of the Wordpress community and the South Florida tech community, we are confident we are going to have a great time!
